Best Foot Forward is an alternative education provider based in Hampshire, offering bespoke tutoring and mentoring packages for young people who are not currently in full-time education. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality support, taking a personalised approach with each learner and their family, and showing genuine empathy for the challenges they face when mainstream education has not met their needs.

Our vision is to provide a nurturing environment that helps young people develop relationship skills, resilience, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. We strive to empower every student with the knowledge and confidence they need to flourish in both their personal and professional lives.

Our experienced staff and management team have a wealth of expertise supporting young people with a wide range of special educational needs, including EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance), emotional and behavioural difficulties, Autism, and ADHD. Our practice draws on evidence-based strategies proven to be effective for neurodiverse learners, while recognising that there is no “one size fits all.” Every programme is tailored to the needs of the individual student.

That is why we offer our specialised alternative education services. We work closely with schools and the local authority to provide individualised learning and mentoring packages that help students overcome obstacles and make genuine progress.
